There is nothing inappropriate in it and the story kept my little ones engaged the entire time. My children loved this story. They always wanted me to read, "Just one more chapter..." It was beautifully written, full of the truth of scripture. Truth will always win out over the lie of the enemy. This story portrayed that quite well.

This is an old fashioned story - but don't be surprised if you see yourself in the story and end up learning something.
A well written story suitable for adults and children.
I first heard this story on Lamplighter Theatre, an audio drama series formerly on Moody Radio. (I wish they hadn't dropped this series.) I bought this book for my former boss's young son and her to read together, and then for my friend's daughter and family. A wonderful book of forgiveness and "things aren't always what they seem to be, no matter how much the evidence". A must read for all ages.
As a child this story was read to me by my mother. I have never forgotten the message of holding strong to your beliefs and God no matter what. He will remember your good works you did in his name and you will be rewarded if not here on Earth when you are still alive you will be rewarded when his son Jesus comes again. This story also touches on the importance of forgiveness that must come deep within your heart.
